OLPC

OLPC (one laptop per child) is an organisation which want to provide children in developing countries with access to knowledge and opportunities to "explore, experiment and express themselves". Therefore OLPC is distributing the XO-1, an inexpensive laptop computer. Fortunately, some people already work on solutions to make this device and it's software accessible for blind and otherwise handicaped persons. For this reason they have set up a mailing list with a public archive.
